[Via Satellite 08-24-2015] Lockheed Martin has signed a contract with Orbital ATK for propellant and pressurant tanks for its modernized A2100 satellite platform. Under the new five-year contract, Orbital ATK will supply flight sets for A2100 satellites until March 2020.

Flight sets consist of a hybrid composite pair of liquid propellant tanks, a pair of high-pressure/high-performance, titanium-lined pressurant tanks, and, as required, a pair of titanium-lined ion propulsion xenon tanks. The liquid propellant tanks contain a high-performance Propellant Management Device (PMD) designed and analyzed by PMD Technologies. Orbital ATK has supplied all but two of the flight sets for the A2100 platform since the mid-1990s.
