The U.S. Space Force has awarded Peraton a contract worth $10 million over five years to provide orbital analysis. Under the contract, Peraton will provide orbital analysis subject matter expertise support and and orbital management training for a variety of missions supporting the Peterson-Schriever Garrison headquartered in Colorado.

Peraton has provided orbital analysis for U.S. military space missions for two decades. Peraton orbital analysis subject matter experts work with a number of Space Force Space Operations Squadrons on conjunction assessment and collision avoidance for satellite systems including Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF), Milstar, and Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS).

“Our experts work closely with their Space Force counterparts to increase Space Domain Awareness, protect Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) signals, and ensure the availability of military satellite communications for national security decision-makers,” commented Roger Mason, president of Space, Intelligence and Cyber sector.

In June, the Space Force awarded Peraton a $56 million contract for commercial satellite communications services for the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).
