[Via Satellite 03-15-2016] On March 8, the U.S. Air Force installed a new Family of Advanced Beyond line of sight Terminal (FAB-T) to the top of Building 400 at Schriever Air Force Base, Colo. The terminal will allow the 4th Space Operations Squadron to quickly communicate with the Milstar and Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) satellite constellations.

Raytheon is the prime contractor for the FAB-T program, having wrested the contract from Boeing during a recompete in 2014. The contract calls for Raytheon to produce 84 command post terminals, of which 23 are for airborne communications, and 61 for ground based.
