[Via Satellite 08-11-2014] Kratos subsidiary RT Logic received a $1 million contract for components to use in the Air Force’s next generation Global Positioning System (GPS) Operational Control System (OCX) ground segment. The follow-on contract brings to $4 million the amount awarded to RT Logic for OCX.

RT Logic works with GPS OCX prime contractor Raytheon as the primary equipment supplier for Command and Control (C2) of the GPS 3 satellites. The company is providing software Front End Processor (FEP) units and Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) gateways.

RT Logic is also building a high fidelity lab environment for simulating GPS mission string. Raytheon will be able to use the lab system to resolve issues, integrate and simulate new functionality and maintain the system without delaying its regression testing schedules.
