[Satellite TODAY 05-09-13] BringCom has announced it has been awarded a new multi-year contract by an international carrier for a U.S. Government circuit. Under the contract, valued at $7.324 million, BringCom will provide fiber optic circuit services to U.S. Government agencies operating in Africa using the company’s facilities in Djibouti City, Republic of Djibouti and its Network Operating Center (NOC) in Sterling, Va.
 
     “BringCom’s strategy and investment in these regions has resulted in over $25 million of multi-year fiber optic and satellite services contracts from international carriers and companies,” Fabrice Langreney, president and CEO of BringCom said in a statement.
 

    The company counts with key local partnerships in the Africa and Middle Eastern regions. They include connectivity, construction of in-country facilities and continuing maintenance activities by BringCom’s satellite and fiber network-capable Network Operations Centers (NOC) in both the United States and Djibouti.
