[Satellite TODAY 09-25-12] The second annual Hosted Payload Summit will kick off on Thursday, Sept. 27 at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, D.C., focusing on the opportunities and challenges surrounding hosted payloads through keynote addresses, in-depth sessions and networking, Access Intelligence announced Sept. 25.
The event, produced by the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition team, gathers satellite professionals to take an in-depth look at the business case, policies and challenges surrounding hosted payloads, including government/military requirements, involvement in the scientific research and enterprise communities, risk and cost analysis, lessons learned from international hosted payloads and a look to the future for hosted payloads.
“Hosted Payload Summit participants have the unique opportunity to engage the power players in the hosted payload community from satellite professionals to government customers and to understand requirements and demands,” Via Satellite and SatelliteTODAY.com News Editor Jeffrey Hill said in a statement. “The content and format of this Summit provides attendees with a personal introduction to the experience and expertise of decision-makers who have already met requirements and how hosted payloads fits in the greater satellite landscape.”
