The three-axis body stabilized GSAT-10 geostationary satellite is based on ISRO’s 3-ton bus to provide communication services via 12 normal and six extended C-band transponders and 12 Ku-band transponders.

   “GSAT-10, with 30 transponders, is ready to be shipped for launch. This launch is expected in middle of September,” Radhakrishnan said at a conference in India. “We also hope to conduct flight testing of the Geosynchronous Launch Vehicle (GSLV) and have done a lot of studies to find out the reason for the failure and taken corrective actions. We have conducted almost 40 tests on subsystems as well as on the engine. The flight engine was tested a couple of weeks ago and is cleared for assembly as a flight stage.”
