[Satellite TODAY 01-12-12] Satellite operator Measat has named Zainudin bin Abdul as its vice president of satellite engineering and operations and Yau Chyong Lim as its vice president of business development and strategic planning, the company announced Jan. 11.

   Bin Abdul has been with Measat since 1993. He previously served as Measat’s director for fleet planning and apecial projects. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing Measat’s fleet management.

   Lim, who previously served as Measat’s senior director of sales and marketing, has served at the company since 1996. In his new role, he will be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities for the growth of the business.
