[Satellite TODAY 01-09-12] Canadian space and satellite information solutions company MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates (MDA), has issued a contract to EarthView Image valued at $3 million, the companies announced Jan. 6.

   MDA will provide its Radarsat distribution rights to EarthView for a period of three years. EarthView will market the Radarsat products and services to support government and commercial users in China. The company will target Chinese markets such as land use management, environmental monitoring, subsidence monitoring and disaster response.
