[Satellite TODAY 07-15-11] Earth imagery solutions provider DigitalGlobe has successfully completed a Critical Design Review (CDR) of infrastructure enhancements at its Colorado headquarters under the terms of its EnhancedView contract with the U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

DigitalGlobe announced July 14 that the successful CDR marks the third consecutive EnhancedView milestone the company has achieved on schedule since the multibillion-dollar contract vehicle was awarded to DigitalGlobe in August 2010.
“Fulfilling our commitments to the NGA is our top priority and at this point we have achieved every milestone on or before the date promised. We expect our enhanced infrastructure to be operational in 2012, allowing us to be more responsive to NGA needs and satisfy increasingly stringent EnhancedView requirements. Ultimately, these investments will enable us to provide the best service possible,” DigitalGlobe CTO Walter Scott said in a statement.
