[Satellite TODAY 06-01-11] MTN Government Services (MTNGS) has secured its first competitive task order for subscription services under the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency’s Future Comsatcom Services Acquisition (FCSA) contract and GSA Schedule 70 program, MTNGS announced May 31. 

    MTNGS will provide managed network services to deliver constant monitoring and management of iDirect hub equipment and various VSAT remotes with 24-hour secure network operating center (SOC) support. The MTNGS SOC aims to provide immediate response to option file generation, remote commissioning support, weekly status log and commissioning reports to include bandwidth usage reporting, the company said.

    “This is a testament to our commitment on delivering the very best satcom solutions that are compliant with the essential, stringent and continually evolving requirements of global satellite services by our United States government,” MTNGS President Jim Ramsey said in a statement.
