Thales-Raytheon Systems has developed a mobile application for its Command View C4I product, which aims to enable users to gain situational awareness and decision making information on a variety of commercially available handheld devices, the company announced Feb. 22.
    Command View supports joint, combined and component operations at the strategic, operational and tactical echelons and serves as the integrator for all information sources. The product also was designed to be adaptable for future growth and evolution.
    “Command View Mobile will provide some of the identical situation information found in the command center environment on a portable platform. Critical C4I information is now securely available anywhere there is wireless connectivity, so that there is no time lost and key personnel have the information they need when they need it,” Thales-Raytheon Systems CEO Kim Kerry said in a statement.
