[Satellite TODAY 11-01-10] Norsat International’s 2010 third-quarter revenues slipped to $4.5 million, down from $5.1 million during the same quarter in 2009, due to government order delays at the end of the quarter, the company announced in its financial results issued Oct. 29.
Government order timing has been a problem for the satellite technology developer, as delays affected Norsat in the second quarter of this year as well.
Norsat’s Microwave product sales and total net earnings remained flat, at $2.2 million and $600,000, respectively. Satellite systems sales dropped $500,000 to $2.2 million from the same period last year.
