[Satellite TODAY 09-03-10] The U.S. Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) has issued Integral Systems with a $1.5 million contract modification to its Command and Control System-Consolidated (CCS-C) contract, the company announced Sept. 2.
The contract modification includes software development, installation and test support for Wideband Global Satcom (WGS) telemetry and orbital analysis enhancements. Additionally, the modification provides on-site support for remaining Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) exercises and launches.
“The modification provides both hardware and software upgrades to the WGS environment supporting Block 2 WGS Air Force operations. These upgrades will ensure CCS-C’s operational readiness to support the WGS program,” CCS-C Senior Program Manager Larry Lind said in a statement.
Integral Systems will continue to provide the Air Force program with its Epoch integrated product suite to consolidate satellite ground systems under the terms of its initial CCS-C contract, awarded in early 2002.
