[Satellite TODAY 02-11-10] Satellite WAN optimization and acceleration solutions provider Stampede Technologies signed an OEM agreement with Global Protocols Inc. (GPI) to integrate GPI’s SkipWare onto Stampede’s FX-series acceleration appliances, Stampede announced Feb. 10.
    The integration aims to accelerate and optimize satellite communications for IP traffic to help military organizations achieve greater application performance across satellite networks while maintaining Space Communication Protocol Standards (SCPS-TP) interoperability.
    “Stampede has a robust set of WAN optimization features that the market is ready to embrace, and they understand the customer requirements in the satellite market,” GPI Vice President of Business Development Nick Yuran said in a statement.
