[Satellite TODAY 10-06-09] KVH Industries has received a total of $2 million in new orders from multiple U.S. and international military customers for its tactical navigation systems and universal multilingual displays, the company announced Oct. 5.
    KVH will ship military vehicle navigation systems designed to provide unjammable, precision navigation, heading and pointing data for vehicle drivers, crews and commanders. The systems also can serve as a link between each vehicle and the overall digital battlefield and are currently in use on U.S. and allied vehicles participating in operations in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere.
    The orders are scheduled to begin shipping in the fourth quarter, with some extending into 2010.
