[Satellite TODAY 10-05-09] TS2 Satellite Technologies has introduced a new satellite link product line to be used by companies operating in the Middle East and Asia as well as by soldiers that are stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan, the company announced Oct. 2.
The offer consists of a broadband Internet and corporate network service based on satellites. The TS2 teleport is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The operator’s broadband services provide two-way data transfer within the network and simultaneous Internet access. TS2 will provide services such as VSAT private networks, broadcasting services, SCPC/SCPC, SCPC/DVB, MESH services, STAR/DAMA, VSAT mini-hub solution and VNO.
“Purchased bands give us unlimited possibilities of configuration and setting any telecommunication connections from the Middle East region and South-Western Asia. We can now build networks of any size on such satellites as Intelsat 10-02, Intelsat 901, ABS-1, ArabSat Badr-4 and NSS-6,” TS2 President Marcin Frackiewicz said in a statement.
