[Satellite Today 03-10-09] Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp. launched its next-generation Blue Force Tracking High Capacity (BFT-HC) solution for satellite-enhanced asset tracking and secure mobile data communications, Comtech announced March 9.
    The solution frees the U.S. Army from pressure to immediately replace or retrofit legacy equipment, allowing leverage of the existing technology investment, Comtech said.
    Developed to meet U.S. Army requirements for its next generation mobile tracking system, BFT-HC aims to ensure seamless flow of information across the battlespace, giving soldiers access to critical information when and where it is needed.
