Peter B. Teets, a former senior Air Force and Lockheed Martin Corp. [LMT] official, will receive a lifetime space achievement award April 1 at the National Space Symposium from the Space Foundation.

Separately, Teets is becoming the Aerospace Corp. chairman.

Retired Air Force Gen. Thomas S. Moorman Jr. will become Aerospace vice chairman.

Teets replaces retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Donald L. Cromer as chairman. Cromer is retiring from the board after six years of service. He chaired the board from 2006 through 2008.
