[Satellite Today 01-12-09] GeoEye Inc. signed a multi-year agreement with the National University of Singapore to allow the Centre for Remote Imaging, Sensing and Processing (CRISP) to collect and sell Earth imagery and related products from the GeoEye-1 satellite, GeoEye announced Jan. 8.
    CRISP will move into its new research center site later this year and continue to support its Ikonos satellite imaging operations. The the new facility will be upgraded to accommodate direct access to the GeoEye-1 data.    
    GeoEye-1 was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. in September and is undergoing check-out and calibration.
