[Satellite Today – 5-20-08] Antenna Technology Communications Inc. (ATCi) has expanded the capabilities of its Warrior Satellite Surveillance System, the company announced May 20.
The system, which provides complete observation for satellite surveillance spread over 140 degrees, now offers the operator an in-depth view of spectrum usage issues involved in satellite carriage as well as the ability to automatically analyze, manage, control and archive the content carried on any given satellite on any given transponder in its viewing arc. These systems can be networked to provide for comparative analysis of satellites orbiting different parts of the globe.
“Warrior’s core technology is an already proven and delivered solution that is key to many large [U.S.] Department of Defense Systems as well as other government, military and multimedia systems in operation today," ATCi’s CEO Gary Hatch said in a statement. "The Warrior and its ARC technology bring the best of RF Monitoring and video capabilities along with surveillance of next generation voice and data applications that are demanded by the U.S. Department of Defense and other foreign defense application entities throughout the world.”
