Work under the delivery order, which is part of a previously announced four-year contract with the Army that has a potential value of up to $270 million, includes resets and repairs to terminals returning from the battlefield as well as upgrades that include compatibility for Wideband Global Satcom Ka-band and cold weather operation.
"Our work establishing the JNN network with the U.S. Army and deploying more than 800 rugged, mobile [terminals] demonstrated our ability to deliver advanced battlefield communications capabilities for any situation," Steve Lindeman, vice president and general manager of DataPath’s Integrated Systems and Services division, said in a statement. "Under this reset contract, we continue to work closely with the Army to enhance the deployed [satellite communications] terminals that enable high-bandwidth communications out to forward operating bases in theater."
