[10-18-07 – Satellite Today] TeleCommunication Systems Inc. (TCS) and Glowlink Communications Technology Inc. won an three-year, $8 million U.S. Department of Defense contract to support the spectrum management of the Wideband Global Satcom Satellite (WGS) system, TCS announced Oct. 18.

The contract, a follow-on to a $700,000 award received in January, also continues support for the monitoring and service of the Defense Satellite Communications System satellites.

The contract was awarded by the Wideband Control Program Office of Project Manager, Defense Communications & Army Transmission Systems contracting authority at Ft. Monmouth, N.J.
