Hope Damphousse named vice president of Strategic Operations for Ball Aerospace.

Ball Aerospace’s new Vice President of Strategic Operations is Hope Damphousse, the company announced Oct. 19. Damphousse starts the role immediately, and in this role, she will lead Ball Aerospace’s Washington, D.C. office; guide public policy, regulatory and government relations activities; and lead the company’s strategic planning and partnerships. Damphousse has been with Ball Aerospace for around 14 years.

Most recently, Damphousse served as senior director within the business unit where she managed government relationships and agendas to drive business priorities forward. Prior to Ball Aerospace, Damphousse served as a legislative advisor to U.S. Senator Robert Bennett of Utah and U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.

“Hope is a respected leader with an impeccable record of solving complex challenges through strong, collaborative relationships, trusted communications and a passion and dedication for mission success. She brings extensive government and legislative affairs experience to her new role as the company’s senior executive in the Washington, D.C. area. We are thrilled to have her in this role,” David Kaufman, president, Ball Aerospace, said in a statement.
