Maury Microwave has completed the acquisition of dBmCorp, which designs and manufactures wireless link emulation equipment used for satellite testing.

Maury Microwave designs and manufactures Radio Frequency (RF) measurement and interconnect solutions. The company said that the dBm acquisition expands its test and measurement technology portfolio into the emulation market. The company intends this acquisition to strengthen its heritage in mission-critical defense and commercial satellite communications programs of record.

The acquisition comes after Maury was acquired by Artemis Capital Partners in June 2021 for an undisclosed amount.

dBm is based in Oakland, New Jersey, and will continue to operate there as a division of Maury. Founding team President Dale Sydnor, Vice President of Engineering Bill Pastor, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing Mike Cagney will continue to lead the company.

Cagney told Via Satellite on Thursday that financial terms of the deal could not be disclosed.

“dBm is widely recognized as a leader in satcom link emulation. This directly supports our vision of an interconnected world where wireless technologies are reliable and efficient,”commented Michael Howo, president and CEO of Maury.
