Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) is the latest organization to join the Space Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Space ISAC), the organization announced Wednesday. Space ISAC aims to foster global cooperation and share critical knowledge in the space and cybersecurity sectors. By merging Space ISAC’s industry expertise with MHI’s technological advancements, the aim is to make substantial progress in tackling key global challenges.
MHI was in the news last week as it signed a landmark deal with Eutelsat to provide multiple launches with its H3 launch vehicle from 2027. It was the first agreement between the two parties, and a very significant one for MHI.
“We are delighted to join forces with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to enhance global collaboration and gain new insights. This partnership underscores our commitment to broadening our global reach and highlights our expertise in the space industry,” Erin Miller, Executive Director, Space ISAC said in a statement.
