EchoStarMobile, along with Murata and Kyocera AVX are debuting a new IoT connectivity product for European and North American markets. It is a new transceiver and antenna with satellite connectivity for industries like agriculture, smart metering, and asset tracking.

Murata manufactures high-density modules, and Kyocera AVX provides multi-band antenna solutions.

The new product combines EchoStar Mobile’s S-band uplink connectivity with Murata’s Type 2PT LoRa connectivity module designed for long battery life, as well as Kyocera AVX’s high-grade, circularly polarized antenna technology. The companies said these components provide a compact hardware footprint with connectivity, power efficiency and pricing that is targeted for businesses across a range of industries.

Murata and Kyocera AVX will both showcase the new connectivity device at their booths during CES 2025 which starts on Jan .7.

“This collaboration brings together the expertise of three market leaders to create a solution that addresses the current inefficiencies in enterprise connectivity services,” said Hirokazu Nakae, GM of Connectivity Module Department, Murata Manufacturing Co. “We believe this three-pronged approach ensures consistent and quality performance that meets remote businesses’ IoT needs.”
