Luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas has finished installing Starlink internet across its fleet of six ships. The cruise line provides unlimited Wi-Fi to guests for no additional charge.

Regent Seven Seas is owned by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., which announced plans to roll out Starlink across its brands in April of 2023

The cruise line announced the rollout on Tuesday and said this high-speed connectivity will give guests the ability to share photos and videos and stream movies while onboard.

“As the leaders in all-inclusive ultra-luxury cruising, this installation of Starlink Wi-Fi across our entire fleet will not only improve our guests’ ability to communicate with loved ones at home, but also support the ship’s operational needs and services,” commented Andrea DeMarco, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Starlink has made further inroads into the cruise connectivity market in 2024, as Carnival Corporation completed installing Starlink across its entire fleet of 90 ships across multiple brands. Luxury brand Seabourn signed on for Starlink as well, and Virgin Voyages is rolling out a solution that combines Starlink and SES O3b mPOWER
