Es’hailSat is looking to deepen its presence into Algeria. It has held discussions with Algérie Télécom Satellite (ATS) to discuss areas for potential collaboration for supporting telecoms networks in the country with Es’hailSat’s satellite services. Algeria has a population of around 45 million people. Es’hailSat revealed details of the discussions on Aug. 15.

Established almost 20 years ago, ATS is a subsidiary aimed at promoting and advancing satellite telecommunications. This initiative is a crucial aspect of Télécom Algeria GTA Group‘s development strategy. They also work to modernize and expand Algeria’s communication infrastructure to support economic development and social progress.

“Es’hailSat is delighted to collaborate with Algeria Telecom Satellite to support various telecom initiatives via our satellite infrastructure. We believe that the experience in providing satellite services to the premier broadcasters, governments and enterprises across Middle East and North Africa aligns Es’hailSat perfectly with ATS approach of continuous improvement of the telecommunication technology sectors of Algeria,” Ali Ahmed Al-Kuwari, President and CEO, Es’hailSat, said in a statement.
