CPN Satellite Services (CPN) is the latest company to join Inmarsat’s Application and Solution Provider (ASP) program, an ecosystem for providers of software, hardware and solutions, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in commercial land markets. As an ASP member, CPN will gain access to Inmarsat’s global L-band satellite connectivity network, Elera. Inmarsat announced the partner Feb. 17.

CPN is a German connectivity solutions provider focused on mobile satellite communications. The company works with customers and partners to develop bespoke connectivity solutions for IoT devices deployed in remote connections via satellite. Its MF‑400 IoT Satellite Bridge is an off-the-shelf solution designed to simplify connectivity between sensor and application.

As part of the ASP program, Inmarsat provides technical guidance on how to integrate and support its satellite services, go-to-market strategy planning, and exposure to the Inmarsat distribution channel.

“Products like the MF‑400 IoT Satellite Bridge solve many of the major problems facing organizations operating IoT sensors in remote regions. Connecting these devices to Inmarsat satellite networks brings added reliability and resilience, with the guarantee that accurate data can be transmitted and received anywhere. We’re thrilled to join Inmarsat’s ASP program because we have reached the stage of our growth, where we need reliable, global connectivity, and a trusted partner to help us scale across our business in the agriculture, energy, information technology, transport and logistics and many other industries,” Thomas Nicolai, managing director CPN Satellite Services, said in a statement.
