Aerial & Maritime (A&M) has entered into a mutual data service agreement with Spanish company Aistech. Both parties will gain access to Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) data for monitoring commercial aircraft as well as Automatic Identification System (AIS) data for monitoring vessels, respectively, from the other party’s constellation of satellites. The agreement will give both parties early access to data from outside of their initial satellite coverage area, which will enable both parties to offer an improved service to their respective customers.

The term of the agreement is five years and the first data delivery is expected in 2018.
