[Via Satellite 04-11-2016] Communications & Power Industries’ (CPI) Satcom Division received a contract of more than $700,000 from a major European integrator and systems provider for a combination of CPI Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTAs) and Klystron Power Amplifiers (KPAs). The customer intends to use the amplifiers in support of transcontinental broadcasting and data transfer applications.

CPI is supplying multiple types of amplifiers, including hub-mount TWTAs, rack-mount TWTAs and rack-mount KPAs. The company attributed its ability to provide multiple technologies and a global support network as important to winning the contract.
