[Via Satellite 04-06-2016] European pay-TV operator M7 Group has reached a satellite capacity and distribution agreement with Lagardère Active to distribute Mezzo Live HD, a dedicated classical music, opera, jazz and dance channel in High Definition (HD). Following the agreement, M7 Platform Services will arrange for the secure satellite delivery of Mezzo Live HD to third party operators within the European footprint of Eutelsat’s Eurobird 9B satellite at 9 degrees east.

The service plan also includes the provision of smartcards and Common Interface (CI) modules, 24/7 quality monitoring, and help desk support to third party operators. As part of the same agreement, Mezzo Live HD will be made available to subscribers of the M7 Deutschland cable and Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) platforms in German-speaking markets, including TeleColumbus, PrimaCom and NetCologne.
