[Via Satellite 03-21-2016] Comtech Telecommunications subsidiary Comtech Xicom has received a $1.3 million contract from a major satellite television provider. The company will supply Ka-band high-power amplifiers for Direct-to-Home (DTH) services.

“Comtech Xicom Technology is pleased to be selected to support such an important direct-to-home customer as they refresh their Ka-band network,” said Stanton Sloane, president and CEO of Comtech Telecommunications. “We have been collaborating with our customer base to deploy the latest long-life Ka-band power amplifiers into existing infrastructure, resulting in more reliable and maintainable networks.”
