[Via Satellite 12-01-2015] Michael Schwartz, Telesat’s vice president of marketing, corporate development and regulatory from 2007 to 2012, has rejoined the company from mobile operator Sprint Corp. Schwartz resigned in November from his Sprint role as Senior Vice President (SVP) of corporate strategy and development to return to Telesat.

His new role with the satellite operator is SVP, corporate and business development. Schwartz will be based in Ottawa, Canada and report to Telesat’s President and CEO, Dan Goldberg. He will also serve on the company’s executive committee.
