[Via Satellite 06-02-2015] MTN Communications has signed agreements for maritime communications services with six customers. Four of the customers — Crystal Cruises, Moana Cruises, Paul Gauguin Cruises and Phoenix Reisen — renewed agreements, and two — American Cruise Lines and Club Med Cruises —signed new contracts.

MTN attributed the recent business to the strategic rollout of communications and content services on board ships. The company has launched a hybrid satellite-terrestrial broadband network and MTN-TV high-definition (MTN-TV HD) services along with other offerings for cruise and maritime customers.
