[Via Satellite 06-13-2014] Intelsat finalized a multi-year agreement with SpeedCast, a satellite communications and maritime services provider, for access to the operator’s global C- and Ku-band broadband mobility network. Intelsat will also provide SpeedCast access to the company’s terrestrially managed network, IntelsatOneSM, and its global broadband mobility network made up of 13 customized Ku-band mobility beams over 10 satellites.

SpeedCast will leverage this capacity and network access to provide enhanced solutions to the company’s maritime, oil and gas and enterprise customers.
