[Via Satellite 02-12-2014] Globecomm Systems has announced the retirement of founder and CEO David Hershberg, who served as CEO of Globecomm since 1994. Keith Hall, COO and president will replace Hershberg as CEO.

Hall has been in the industry for more than 20 years, and has served Globecomm in many roles in both the infrastructure and service operations sectors for the past 17 years. Recently, he helped lead the planning and execution of Globecomm’s corporate growth strategies and business development. He has also acted as SVP and general manager of the company’s service sector, helping to drive growth and profitability through the expansion of its managed service products.
