[Via Satellite 10-25-13] SES and OmniAccess, a VSAT service provider and network integrator in the luxury superyacht market, have signed a new Ku-band capacity deal on SES’ NSS 12 satellite to provide high-speed Internet connectivity to superyachts in the Mediterranean, Black, Caspian and Arabian Seas. OmniAccess will use the capacity located at 57 degrees west to keep their customers connected anytime via the data, VOIP, video conferencing services that they offer.

“The NSS-12 satellite’s comprehensive coverage over The Gulf and the Mediterranean and Arabian Seas is ideal, as it enables OmniAccess to provide reliable mobile broadband solutions to their customers on board the superyachts,” said Simon Gatty Saunt, vice president of data and mobility services at SES.
