[Satellite TODAY 07-12-13] iSat, a systems integrator specializing in satellite earth stations for frequencies such as X-band and Ka-band for use by government, satellite operators and broadcasting organizations, announced profits and strong growth in its second year of trading.

iSat, whose customers stem from both the U.K. and the U.S., increased post-tax profits to 88,162 pounds ($133,051) on a turnover of 1.485 million pounds ($2.24 million). The majority of the turnover came from areas of high level system integration including elements of RF engineering design in major earth stations, monitor and control software configuration, writing operations manuals, and on-site installation and test of the final systems, according to a written company statement.

iSat has been working in the field of satellite monitoring signal processing systems for the Dutch Ministry of Defense since 2005. iSat plans and manages the signal integrity through the entire RF chain, updates system documentation and supports new product integration into its bespoke monitor and control GUI.
