Advantech Wireless will supply Transcend 800 Point-to-Point microwave radio equipment and support to transport its Digital TV programs in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The move will replace a fiber optic link that is now used as a back-up communication channel.

   Transcend 800 combines ASI HD video and 1Gbps Ethernet to provide solutions to demanding transmission, telecom, and broadcast applications including backhauling 3G/4G traffic and Wireless Broadband Networks such as LTE, HSPA+, WiMAX, Metro WiFi, UMTS TDD and private communication networks carrying data, voice and HD video.
