[Satellite TODAY 01-09-13] Globe Wireless and Arimar have entered into a long-term cooperation agreement to provide Globe Wireless products and services to Italian flagged vessels, Arimar confirmed Jan. 9.

   Arimar will act as the billing agent for Globe Wireless Italian flagged vessels. Both companies said the deal effectively opens up the Italian maritime market and enhances communication services offerings to Italian and Mediterranean maritime customers and industry.

   “Both parties bring distinct strengths and infrastructure to the table and I am confident this collaboration will considerably strengthen both our business,” Globe Wireless President and CEO David Kagan said in a statement. “By collaborating with Arimar, Globe Wireless now has a partner with in depth knowledge of the Italian and Mediterranean maritime market and we are now able to offer our wide range of solutions to our joint customers, who will benefit in terms of better service and more innovative solutions.”
