Miteq Introduces Compact MT2400 Amplifier

[Satellite TODAY 12-18-12] Miteq has introduced its MT2400 TWT amplifier to its MCL outdoor product line, the company announced Dec. 18.

The amplifier is designed specifically for the Satcom on the move and SNG (Satellite News Gathering) applications. It is designed to be compact, lightweight, weather-resistant package, available for Ku-Band applications and weighs approximately 32 pounds.

The MT2400 features extensive diagnostic capabilities, with a continuously variable attenuator adjustment and Ethernet Interface and is designed to meet MIL-188-164A. It is also able to be customized to include options such as an Input L-Band block upconverter, input amplifier (SSA), or internal linearizer.
