[Satellite TODAY 11-02-12] Webtech Wireless has released its Quadrant Manager 9.7 available immediately with support for Android smart phones and tablets, the vehicle fleet location-based services (LBS) and telematics technology provider announced Nov. 2.
The Quadrant Manager 9.7 is designed to deliver customers with the optimized mobile-user experience of the iPhone and iPad on Android phones and tablets and to use Webtech Wireless LBS to maximize customers’ fleet operations.
Features available with the Quadrant Manager solution include: Google traffic and weather data; New layers on Google maps with a Satellite view option designed to ease the work of dispatch teams and drivers and to offer oil and gas solutions with latest road, well site, pipeline, and legal subdivision (LSD) data in Alberta; User control of temperature thresholds and alerts to protect valuable temperature sensitive loads; and other features aiming to make it easier for fleet managers to maximize the time vehicles and drivers are operating for customers.
"We have accelerated our development efforts and reduced our time to market with new mobile products and enhancements over the last eighteen months. This is the third major release of Quadrant Manager for our commercial and government clients in 2012," Webtech President and CEO Scott Edmonds said in a statement.
