[Satellite TODAY 10-29-12] Measat Satellite Systems has reached an agreement with Encompass Digital Media to add the History North East Asia regional feed on the Measat-3 satellite located at the 91.5 degrees East orbital slot, the operator announced Oct. 29.
The addition of the History North East Asia regional feed brings the number of HD channels on Measat’s video neighborhood to 34.
“Measat is delighted to partner with Encompass to bring another premium HD channel on board Measat’s video neighborhood,” Measat Spokesman Jarod Lopez said in a statement. “The expansion of Measat’s HD video neighborhood is a testament to the strength of our video platform in the Asia Pacific region.”
