[Satellite TODAY 09-05-12] IPTV and over-the-top (OTT) solutions provider Amino Communications has selected Wi-Fi chipset and software developer Celeno Communications to integrate its OptimizAIR Wi-Fi USB solution with Amino’s A140/A540 set-top boxes (STBs), Amino announced Sept. 5.

   “In a highly competitive market, service providers need to offer innovative video services to retain and attract customers,” Amino Vice President of Product Management Mike Greenall said in a statement. “This solution, embedded with Celeno’s best-in-class Wi-Fi technology, will enable our customers to quickly, seamlessly and cost effectively enable STBs for wireless HD video streaming while maintaining high quality-of-service. This will increase our customers’ satisfaction and significantly enhance their competitive positioning.”
