MTN said the new business was opened due to high-demand from U.S. networks for services that could broadcast content from some of the most remote and toughest terrains on the planet.

   MTN CTO Richard Hadsall said multiple-use cases for implementing this type of capability range from entertainment to research to supporting mission-critical military operations.

   “There is growing interest and requirements by all types of commercial and government organizations to have various content delivered from remote locations for education, entertainment and mission critical communications,” Hadsall said in a statement. “This team demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing the most secure and reliable service available on the market.”
