In its bi-annual Media Forecast, Pyramid Research said that cable customers would represent approximately 58 percent of the total accounts – a significant decrease from the 66 percent share the platform maintained in 2011.

   The firm added that IPTV subscriptions would exceed 100 million by the end of 2014. Pyramid Research also expects IPTV-over-fiber networks to contribute a larger share of the total IPTV subscriptions in 2017 than they did in 2011.
