[Satellite TODAY 05-24-11] SES has signed a new multi-year capacity deal with Turkish public broadcaster Türkiye Radyo ve Televizyon Kurumu (TRT) for capacity for the FTA broadcasting of its international digital channel TRT Turk on Astra’s 19.2 degrees East orbital position.

       SES announced the deal May 23. TRT will use former analog capacity on Astra that became available when broadcasters in Germany switched off the analog satellite signals in late April.
