[Satellite TODAY 04-23-12] U.S. pay-TV provider Dish Network has introduced the Pandora personalized radio to its Dish Hopper home HD DVR system, the company announced April 20.

The Pandora service will allow Dish Network customers with the Hopper DVR to search for their favorite artists or songs and create personalized radio stations that play only the music they love from the comfort of their homes.
Dish said Hopper-equipped customers can login to their existing Pandora account, or create a new Pandora account, to stream their personalized radio stations through their television.
“Pandora adds new dimension to the Hopper experience,” Dish Network Vice President of Product Management Vivek Khemka said in a statement. “This partnership is another example of how we are working to make Hopper the entertainment platform of choice for America’s homes.”
